Like all projects, I need to first develop a structure for my new website. I have decided that the focus will be on my blog. So I have ditched the typical static front page and will try a page showing the most recent blog posts. I will retain a Portfolio page and pages with recent photos and video work (both personal and professional). WordPress makes displaying and updating media sooo much easier than hand-coding HTML. I do not miss the days of the first two iterations of the CRi website (circa 1997 to 2002).
