As some of you know, my Dad, Ronald Nakatsuji, passed away earlier this year. A former USAF fighter pilot whose final posting was at Hickam Air Force Base in Honolulu, near where my brother and I grew up, he left behind a large collection of hand-built, radio-controlled (RC) aircraft. I’m trying to find a good home for these fine examples of craftsmanship. Many of them are built using what, at the time, was cutting-edge ducted-fan technology.
Does anyone have ideas about where these could go? Our family would donate them to a museum or other appropriate venue. If you have a suggestion, please reach out to me.
So far, the local Pacific Aviation Museum in Honolulu is full, and I have not yet heard back from the National Model Aviation Museum in indiana.
